TITANIUM EDITION BRACELET Openwork
MON00584

Partially openwork dial
This timepiece features a sapphire dial that is partially open to the seconds mechanism and escapement line.
The seconds wheel is the main feature of this opening. In addition to its mechanical aspect, this wheel is an aesthetic symbol unique to the brand.
The partial opening of the dial also reveals the escapement line assembly with the escapement wheel, balance and its pallet. A decorative bridge on the lower part of the dial has been added - thanks to a special hand engraving technique, the specialists at Manufacture have reproduced the boucharder texture found inside the bridges on the back of the movement.

Three-dimensional hands, indices and numerals filled with Super-LumiNova
For enhanced legibility, the tapering, three-dimensional hands are made from Grade 5 titanium and filled with Super-LumiNova. The numerals and indices are made entirely of Super-LumiNova, improving visibility, and reinforcing the modern feel of this timepiece.

The seconds dial stars
Rather than a series of enclosed circles, the open, airy dial is made of part orthogonal lines forming vanishing points with the axes of the hands, reinforcing the notion of continuity.

Case
Framing the dial is a titanium bezel with an eye-catching, geometric profile unlike anything previously seen on a Romain Gauthier timepiece.
In between the bezel and caseback, the one-piece caseband and lugs, which have been adjusted to fit all wrists, are geometrically sculpted, with satin and polished finishes as well as aesthetic grooves cleverly deployed to draw out the resulting shapes

Movement
Made from Grade 5 Titanium, and insipred by the finger bridges style, the design of the movement follows the watchmaking history of the Vallée de Joux, with a modern approach, reflecting Romain’s vision of the evolution of tradition. The outer edges of each bridge all feature a double bevel, while the flat bridge surfaces and rubies are each framed by a raised border that has been straight-grained.

Contrasting tones and textures
Main bridges feature a variety of hand-finishing techniques carried out in-house. The outer edges of each bridge all feature a double bevel, while the flat bridge surfaces and rubies are each framed by a raised border that has been straight-grained.

Hand-engraved bouchardée texture
Inside the bridge borders, the hand-finishing specialists at Manufacture Romain Gauthier have used a special hand-engraving technique to create a highly original dimpled texture called "boucharder"

Titanium bracelet and folding clasp
Romain Gauthier's first metal bracelet, made entirely of natural Grade 5 titanium, light and comfortable.
This bracelet was designed so that the wearer does not feel it; in addition to being light, it is also very thin thanks to the folding clasp integrated into the bracelet.
