We are delighted to celebrate the official opening of our first Romain Gauthier Salon in Nisshindo main shop, Ginza, Tokyo — conceived as a true “home away from home.”
Spanning two floors, this new Ginza destination has been created as a place where visitors can truly experience the human side of Romain Gauthier’s watchmaking.
Every detail — from the furniture to the curated objects and overall atmosphere — reflects Romain’s personal values, offering a deeper understanding of the spirit and stories behind each creation.

The living room
This floor is designed for quiet discovery, balancing the organic warmth of the Vallée de Joux. The heartbeat of the room is a milled relief map of his Swiss home -carved micron-level precision - and connecting Ginza directly to the mountains of Le Sentier in the Vallée de Joux.

The Library & The Table.
The upper floor is a tribute to the art of conversation, slow time and shared passion. Centered around a large table, it provides an intimate setting to sit down, share a drink and talk watchmaking.
