    INSIGHT MICRO-ROTOR

    INSIGHT MICRO-ROTOR

    WINDING

Winding Insight Micro-Rotor by wearing the watch.

Insight Micro-Rotor is powered by an automatic (self-winding) calibre that features a bidirectional micro-rotor.
In whichever direction the micro-rotor turns , it winds a double mainspring barrel that, when fully wound, offers 80 hours of power.

Wearing your Insight Micro-Rotor, the regular, everyday movements of your arm and wrist will be enough to make the micro-rotor turn and wind up the watch's movement.

If the watch has not been worn for a while and the power reserve is totally depleted, before setting the time the wearer can give power to the movement by using the crown at 2 o'clock.

Insight Micro-Rotor can be wound manually using the crown at 2 o'clock.

Make sure the crown is pressed in towards the case before winding. Take the crown between the thumb and index finger, or thumb and middle finger, and turn it clockwise.

Good to know: There is no danger of overwinding Insight Micro-Rotor because one of the mainspring barrels contains a clutch that prevents any potential damage to the mechanism through overwinding.

    TIME SETTING

    1. Pull out the crown

    2. Turn clockwise or anticlockwise

To set the time on Insight Micro-Rotor, gently pull out the crown at 2 o'clock. You should hear and feel a small click when the crown is fully out.

Turn clockwise or anticlockwise to the correct time.

When the correct time is set, push the crown back in towards the case. You should also hear and feel a small click when the crown is pushed back in.

Important: Do not pull the crown out if the watch is wet or in water.

    CARE AND SERVICE

    Water resistance
Your Insight Micro-Rotor is water resistant to a static 50 metres/170ft. However, vigorous swimming and diving should be avoided as moisture may be forced past the water-resistant seals.

    Maintenance
Your Insight Micro-Rotor has taken years to design, months to create the components for it, weeks to finish by hand and days to assemble and regulate. With care, it will last many generations.
Before delivery, it has been checked and tested to the highest standards. For a description of these tests and for a list of our tips for looking after your timepiece, please click here.

    Service
We recommend sending your Insight Micro-Rotor back to Manufacture Romain Gauthier for service at least once every three years. Your nearest authorised Romain Gauthier retailer can help you to do this. You can also contact us.
A service sees your timepiece returned to the expert Romain Gauthier watchmaker who originally assembled and regulated it, ensuring continuity and quality. For full details of what a service entails, please visit romaingauthier.com/owners.
When returning your watch for service, to ensure safe shipping we suggest putting the timepiece in the plastic 'membrane' case that came with the watch, then placing this plastic case in a sizeable cardboard box with protective polystyrene filling.
