This Prestige HMS features a stunning dial crafted from a rare specimen of Henbury meteorite boasting exceptionally coarse intersecting bands of nickel-iron crystal that spectacularly shimmer as the wearer turns the watch.
Flat crown on the caseback
Placing the crown flat on the caseback increases winding efficiency because energy does not need to be transmitted through 90°. It also reduces wear and stress on components. The large diameter of the crown also enables the watch to be easily wound, even while on the wrist.
Movement
With its innovative winding mechanism – a ‘flat’ caseback crown – supreme hand-finishing and off-centre indications, this movements firmly established the tone for future Romain Gauthier creations
